Basic Delivery Information
Radiotronics subscribes to Amazon's Frustration-Free Packaging initiative. The idea being that almost all packaging ultimately ends up in the bin. With that in mind, wouldn't it be better if products were supplied with as little packaging as practically possible. This is achieved by one of two ways. Where possible and practical, we ask our suppliers to supply us products with minimal packaging or bulk packed so that there is minimal packaging included in the first place. If that's not possible, we will sometimes repackage items and send the packaging to recycling. Nevertheless which method, the result is that you will receive your goods in a frustration-free packaging with minimal packaging to have to throw away.
Lead Time (Important, Please Read Carefully)
Products that are not in stock may have a lead time. All delivery services and estimates are calculated from the point of dispatch. This is determined by the product lead-time which can be shown on every product page. For example, if a product has a 3-5 day lead time, this means that the item takes 3-5 days to arrive with us. Then if you select next-day delivery, that is calculated from when we receive it into our warehouse.
In Stock Items
Depending on stock lead time (see above), orders placed and, providing your payment has been cleared, by 1 pm weekdays will be despatched the same day for delivery within the terms of the delivery service you've selected. Orders placed on weekends (After 1 pm Friday through Sunday night) will be processed and despatched the following Monday (excluding bank holidays of course) for delivery on the following Tuesday or Wednesday, again subject to stock.
FREE Delivery: Free delivery is a 3-5 day service. This is a non-priority economical delivery for orders that are not urgent. We use economy couriers such as Royal Mail, Hermes, Yodel, Geodis etc. Delivery is subject to lead time (see above).
Next-Day Delivery: For this service, we use DPD, UK Mail, TNT, DHL or FedEx. This is determined by weight and dimensions. However, this is subject to lead time (see above).
For non-UK mainland deliveries, please select your country from the drop-down list in your shopping cart. If your country or territory is not listed then we cannot deliver to you.
Non-Mainland UK (Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands Including Shetland Islands, Northern Ireland & Channel Islands)
These territories are charged at a premium. Usually around £12.00+VAT for a standard delivery service. Next day delivery is unlikely to happen in these territories.
Jersey & Guernsey
These two islands are a special case for delivery and VAT. Residents of both these islands do not pay VAT. Delivery is usually around £15+VAT. Dispatch time is subject to lead time (see above). Our shopping cart automatically caculates VAT when you select your country from the drop-down list in the shopping cart.
Outside the UK
To get a delviery quote, simply add any product to your shopping cart and select your country. VAT and delivery will automatically be calculated. Dlivery is at cost and is non-negotiable.
Our returns policy is strictly return to base only. That means that the buyer pays return postage. We recommend that you use Parcel Monkey (click here) where you can arrange for them to collect from you. However, Parcel Monkey is effectively a price comparison website and we recommend you choose a courier you've heard of such as DPD, for example.
We are a trade supplier and all the products we sell are for "Professional Use Only".
We do not offer products on a trial basis. If you place your order without contacting us first, we shall assume that you understand the compatibility and suitability of the products you are ordering.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND PRODUCTS BACK TO OUR ADDRESS. WE WILL SUPPLY THE RETURN ADDRESS DEPENDING ON THE PRODUCT YOU WISH TO SEND BACK, THIS IS BECAUSE DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS HAVE DIFFERENT RETURNS POLICIES.
None faulty products
If you change your mind about what you have purchased, you may return your purchase for a full refund less our delivery costs. This means that we will retain whatever it cost us to deliver it to you in the first place, even if we didin't charge you for the delivery.
Return carriage is your own responsibility.
The goods must be UNOPENED.
We do not accept returned goods that have been opened, as once a product's internal or external packaging has been opened, it is illegal for us to attempt to sell it as brand new.
Under certain circumstances we may accept back a opened-box product, however, there will be a restocking fee from 15% to 25%. This either covers the cost of repackaging it or this will be the amount we will reduce the product by to re-sell it as b-grade.
All products carry a manufacturers' full 12 month warranty unless stated otherwise. Consumables, such as headsets and accessories do not carry a warranty, other than arriving dead on arrival.
RETURNS AUTHORISATION: Please contact us to obtain a returns number and return address. Unauthorised returns are most likely to be rejected. This means your parcel may be returned to you and therefore wasting your money on postage.
Please make sure there is a fault: For electrical products, you should check all exterior fuses, there should be one in the plug and there may also be some in the rear of the unit and check the plug for the fuse and any loose wires.
PLEASE NOTE: If there is no fault found, some manufacturers have a "no fault found" charge, and may also charge you a carriage charge to deliver the product back to you. We have no control over this; therefore please ensure the manufacturer or ourselves agree that there is a fault before returning the product.
Within 14 days:
Subject to having available stock to hand, If your product develops a fault within 14 working days we will usually simply replace it. For products under 20Kg we will usually ask you to return the product to us or our supplier, but we will re-reimburse you for any carriage charges inured up to a maximum of £15 (including VAT); providing the original postage receipt is supplied to our office.
Please note: if you do not send us the original postage receipt (not a photocopy), we will not refund your postage costs.
After 14 days:
Depending on your product's manufacturers' warranty policy, we may either ask you to send your product directly back to the manufacturer or back to our service centre for repair. In either instance, you must contact us first to arrange a return.
