The Hytera PD565 (PD5 series) is Hytera's mid-range of portable two way radios. The PD505 is very compact and lightweight. making it ideal for most applications. The PD505 has a large textured PTT with a very definitive click to indicate when the PTT has been pressed. 16 channels which can be a mixture of analogue or digital makes the PD505 ideal for analogue to digital migration.
The Hytera PD505 comes with the option of a 1500mAh Lithium battery which will provide between 8 and 14 hours of average use; or the option of a 2000mAh lithiumbattery (BL2010) which will provide up to 24 hours of use. Battery life is further extended when the PD505 is used in digital mode.
Excellent voice quality
With the combined application of the narrow band codec and digital technologies for error correction, the Hytera PD505 features excellent voice quality even in loud environments and in peripheral areas of radio coverage.
The Hytera PD505 offers better signal coverage than analogue radios.
The PD505 has an internal timer which can detect of the radio has had any use, and if not in a specified amount of time can alert other radio users.
Reliability & Robustness
The Hytera PD505 meets all requirements of the open DMR ETSI standard (ETSI-TS 102 361-1, -2, -3), the MIL810-C/D/E/F/G standard and degree of protection IP54. Thus excellent features are offered even under harsh operating conditions.
