The EVX-R70 is a digital two way repeater from Vertex Standard. With the ability to operate in both analogue and digital mode, this means that the EVX-R70 has the capability to operate with any existing analogue two way radios. Including “mixed mode” this allows for the repeater to dynamically switch between both analogue and digital frequencies for flexibility, making the EVX-R70 ideal for a business going through transition between analogue and digital.
Continuous duty with 45 Watt for VHF and 40 Watt for UHF means that the EVX-R70 has easy integration into most repeater sites, also including an integrated power supply with connector for optional external DC battery backup. A Multicoloured LED status indicator ensures easy monitoring of the repeater status, these status’ including; power, digital/analogue mode, repeater disabled, transmit analogue/digital by slot and receive analogue/digital mode by slot.
Available for both UHF and VHF frequencies, the EVX-R70 has a channel capacity of 16 allowing for sufficient communications. An AMBE+2™ digital vocoder is present with the EVX-R70, this maintaining speech intelligibility and speaker recognition, whilst also making communications resistant to background noise and channel errors. Accessories are connected via a 26-pin connector, whilst also having an EIA rack mount size.
